Transfer
Hi . My husband set up our floodlight camera but registered it wrongly . We are trying to transfer ownership to make this cam on the same account as the front doorbell .
Have tried the transfer device option using qr code and that was over 2 months ago . According to ring info if no response from original owner in 15 days then it would allow me to transfer to my account . HELP !!

Yes I tried to set up camera on correct account but . However every time I scan the QR code it says the transfer is in progress. Been like that for months now so I can't do anything

Hi @user_80bff8. The Device Transfer option is designed for situations where you cannot contact the previous owners of a device to have them remove it from their account, allowing you to complete the setup. Since the device was on your husband's account, you only needed to delete the doorbell from his account and set it up on the correct account, which wouldn't have required a 15-day wait. The transfer process simply removes the device from its current account; once completed, you must set up the device again on the desired account. Have you attempted to set up the camera on the correct account after the 15-day waiting period?
