Ring doorbell not charging

I've been trying to charge my ring doorbell but it won't charge. Its been on charge for about 4-5 hours now via a wall socket and cable that arrived with the doorbell but still no charge and battery is completely flat. The chime is connected, there are no issues with the wifi, the cable and wall socket are working as ive tried alternative devices and they charge without any issues. Any advice will be appreciated.

Hi @user_9270c3. Which model of Ring Doorbell is this? You can find the device name on the back of the Doorbell itself, and on the Device Health page in the Ring app. Have you tried plugging the charging cable into a different power outlet, or resetting the Doorbell? You can reset the Doorbell by holding down the setup button for 20 seconds.
