"With Ring you're always home" - LIE!
I genuinely expected that purchasing a high-end, expensive branded camera doorbell should be worth the money. I was wrong. Ring doorbells claim to be so good, cost a lot of money in comparison and yet still appallingly fail to deliver what they advertise. I have found the entire Ring ecosystem to be consistently disappointing. A complete and utter waste of time and expense. How they have the audacity to charge so much money for such terrible technology is beyond belief. The very idea that when it decides to go offline they want to blaim it on the wifi, although every other device is perfectly connected. I think it's about time that Ring accepted it has developed substandard products which are overpriced. Furthermore, when it fails to operate, if we need to be stood next to the doorbell to press a little orange button after unscrewing a faceplate then what is the point in the product?! It's supposed to be a security device for when we aren't home!!!
Basically it's useless and a complete failure.

Ring is NOT a high end product but a mass produced product that is affordable to the average homeowner/consumer. There are professional grade products that far exceed Ring in quality but is overkill for 99% of home owners. Ring is excellent for what they are trying to accomplish…provide enhanced safety to most home owners. They are succeeding because they good at what they do.

I absolutely love my Ring products and each year I buy more Ring products to expand my coverage. I will say that online and phone support is mostly substandard especially in the support is from a group of islands south of China. The support is 100% awesome when I am blessed to engage a rep based inside the US. I suspect you are having issues with support and are unhappy with their incompetency. Correct? It is absolutely possible for a Ring Doorbell to be fighting with the think walls you have in your fortress and without a Ring Chime or Chime Pro located near your Ring Video Doorbell, to receive and transmit your signal to your internal router, I will say you are going to continue to have issues. It is not Ring’s fault that you live in a fortress but you can thank Ring for having awesome products with the Chime Pro (signal extender) and if that does not work, you can get the Ring Wired Video Doorbell and connect your product and Router with an Ethernet cable. Understand that Ring offers product solutions for nearly all situations and one day they will also offer consistent online/phone support. I suggest calling and asking for a US rep and to encourage Ring to have consistently competent foreign online and phone support. If Microsoft and Apple can train competent foreign support staff, Ring can also. Good Luck.
