Ring Video Doorbell 2 - In-Home Chime worked for years - now not working and "in-home" chime not showing under settings

troubleshooting

I've had a Ring Video Doorbell 2 for a few years now (at least). We just noticed that it is no longer ringing the mechanical chime in the house (it did work before).I've searched and searched - the response is to go to Device Settings, and then In-Home Chime .... but my App does not have an "In-Home Chime" option anymore. There is a Ring Edge Settings, and then General Settings. Nothing about an In-Home Chime. How do I get the in-home chime working when it doesn't show up in the App settings?

Hi @user_e1158e. What is the make and model of your chime kit? Have you checked the wiring and the chime kit to see if anything has been damaged? If you tap the General Settings option, do you see anything about the chime settings listed?

I have the same thing. Ring Video Doorbell 2. Hard wired with the 2 cables coming out of the wall. It has worked brilliantly instantly when I installed it ~2 or so years ago and has been working fine ever since… that is until ~2-3 weeks ago no gong in my house anymore…- checked the wiring, if I connect the old doorbell, it works fine- Ring itself works as well. I get notifications- Charging of the Battery also works fineIn the Settings I can‘t find anything how to trigger a change… Also did a hard-reset, didn’t help… what‘s wrong here?
