As the title asks... Can a Ring Video Doorbell 2 ring the existing chime in my home when it is hardwired?

Hi @Calab. Yes, but I'd recommend making sure your chime kit is compatible with the Video Doorbell 2. We have a chime kit compatibility list here: https://ring.com/support/articles/yro70/Ring-Video-Doorbell-2-Chime-Kit-Compatibility-List. Additionally, please ensure your transformer provides 8 to 24 VAC, 50/60Hz, 5VA to 40VA.
