Doorbell Gen 2 2020 says hardwired but it should be running on battery

i recently removed my doorbell camera to charge it and now it wont charge at all and instead says its hardwired while the usb is attached to it... i have no way of hardwiring this doorbell so it has to run off battery. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi @user_d05e58. Is the device charging? You can always reset the doorbell by pressing and holding the setup button for 20 seconds, then releasing. Let me know if this helps.
