Costco Video Doorbell3 upgrade from doorbell 2 and activating free 1 year plan

I currently have a Video Doorbell 2 and I bought a Video Doorbell 3 from Costco which comes with the 1 year plan. My current video doorbell 2 plan will expire in 2/2021. If I activate and add the Video Doorbell 3 to my existing Ring account, will I get the 1 year protect plan that comes with it? I am giving my Video Doorbell 2 to my dad who currently has the original Video Doorbell 1.

Hi @deliverator. Since the Doorbell you purchased comes with a 1 year Ring Protect plan, it will automatically activate when you set the Doorbell up.
