Ring floodlight wired pro cam security camera - video recording issue

I have a Ring floodlight wired pro cam security camera mounted halfway down the drive and pointing towards the pavement, which is about 14 metres away.I recently deleted all the video history, which went back several months. Since then the camera will only record when someone is close to it whereas it always used to record anyone who entered our drive from the pavement. Strangely, if I deliberately activate the camera it will film me walking towards the pavement but it won't record if I walk from the pavement into the drive.The RSSI is -50.Can anyone tell what the problem and solution might be?

    Hi @bd572a0f11a9c99b1fcbfbc71d5abe. You may need to adjust your Motion Sensitivity Slider. This Help Center article here is also helpful. You'll need to ensure that your Floodlight is mounted at the proper height, and the proper angle. You can find that information here. Let me know if this helps with your Motion Detection.

      Hi Tom. I have already adjusted the Motion Sensitivity Slider but it made no difference. The Floodlight hasn't moved from the position where it was originally mounted.When I look at Live View the complete driveway is picked up by the camera as it always has been. Today I watched on Live View as my wife got home in our car and reversed it into our driveway as usual. The entire manoeuvre was visible to me but the camera recorded nothing. It seems to be that the video recording facility is faulty although, as I said originally, the recording will take place when you get really close to the camera.Any more ideas?CheersSimon

      Hi there. Have you verified that you have an active Ring Home Plan? If you are able to Live View, that event should be recorded and saved on your Event History Timeline.
