Hi @Keeks. Are you the Owner of the Ring device, or a Shared User? Shared Users will not have as many options available in the Ring app. If you are the Owner, please share a screenshot of what you're seeing on the Ring app dashboard.

I have lost my ability to turn cameras on/off/home/away on the dashboard.  Arrived home yesterday after being out for a few hours and cameras were on (I didn't turn them on), and I have no way to turn them off as they no longer show in my dashboard.  Cameras are showing, but not the control icons.  I am the owner and connected to same wifi. iOS on Apple phone.

Under "Manage your Shortcuts" the only visible shortcut showing is "History".  there is nothing under "Hidden Shortcut".

Same problem, same question.  It’s not not going to last long if we can’t turn them off when we are home… definitely not worth the money.

Hi @user_708300. Which Ring subscription do you have? Do you have a Ring Alarm system, or only doorbells and cameras? A recent update was made, and Modes are no longer available on the Basic plan, unless you have a Ring Alarm system. If you have doorbells and cameras, subscribing to the Plus plan will give you access to Modes. An email was sent out on August 7th, 2024, notifying users of this change.

It appears from "Caitlyn_Ring"'s answer this is no longer available on the Basic Plan. SO - if you want this functionality, pay more or look for other options. My solution: look for another option. Totally unacceptable answer, Caitlyn!

I have the same issue. I am the app owner but my shared user lost the option recently. I am on Standard Plan. It seems there is no plus plan in Ring subscription. Can anyone help on here? Many thanks.

This functionality was removed sometime in 2024 and never restored. Quite ridiculous that I can no longer have shortcuts to my devices, forcing me to have to drill down into several menus to turn a light on/off (Alarm Devices). How hard can it possibly be to programm the app to allow one to configure the dashboard to one’s liking… Seriously considering going to another vendor…
