Upgrade to multi plan, refund for solo?
I just purchaed an additional device and want to upgrade from the Ring solo plan to the Ring multi plan.
However, I paid annually for the solo plan and it looks like I would be charged the full amount for the new plan.
I won't get credit for the remaining time on the solo plan? It feels like a penalty for paying annually.

I'm in the same boat. I tried asking yesterday through live chat and over the phone but both times got an AI agent who couldn't give me an answer.
Edit: called them again and kept saying 'i want to speak to a human' to the 3 different AIs I was connected to. Finally got to speak to an actual person, who cancelled the Solo plan, signed me up for Multi and gave me a prorated refund for the Solo plan
