Outdoor siren not recognising power source
Hello, issue is that I can’t get my Ring Outdoor siren to recognise that it’s plugged in.The socket definitely works, I have also tried two different adapters (including Ring’s own). Signal strength to the box is fine and it works with the D batteries. I have tried deleting and re-adding the alarm box several times. I did call Ring tech support a while ago and was sent a new siren, but this did not solve the problem either.Have seen that several others have had this issue with both hardwire and adapter, even after troubleshooting, and that the query is still coming up. Keen to hear if anyone has found a solution?I do wonder if it is a device software problem, that for some customers, Ring unfortunately don’t have a fix for?
