Ring doorbell plus solar charger

Got a message that the front door camera is at 30% yet I installed a solar charger , which I assumed is supposed to keep the battery charged all the time - had it for 6mths and this is the first time I've had this message .

Hi @user_1d0113. The solar charger can help keep the battery charged longer, but it is dependent on receiving several hours of direct sunlight per day.
