My brother purchased a brand new ring stick camera and it suddenly stopped working.

contacted ring they told him to contact Amazon as they sold the device.

long story short Amazon own ring in the uk.

so no help for my brother, I took ownership of said stick camera and reset it and started setup , up pops the message associated with another account.

well I know it is not, as I removed it from my brothers account and app.

i then received an email stating the the camera will be released from my brothers account in 15 days.

so I swapped another camera (ring) with my brother so he’s happy and with solar panel so battery last for a while without needing a charge.

i have now resolved the matter with stick camera, seems corrupted update caused a crash in hardware.

but why do I need to wait 15 days ?

and all without the help of ring or Amazon.

Unfortunately customer service is very poor from either company.
