Doorbell plus battery charged to maximum with solar panel
troubleshooting

I have today contacted Ring support by phone and via online chat. Since fitting my new doorbell plus and the solar panel, the battery level has not dropped to below 99%. This is totally against what Ring recommend for optimum battery health. I have even set my doorbell up in such a way that you would think the battery would drain, and it isn’t.The conversation I had on chat, I was told to take the battery out and charge it manually. I pointed out that this would still charge it to 100% and when I replace the battery, it will hold it at that level.Is there no way that a software update can be made so that the solar panel will stop charging or holding it at its maximum until it drops to say 70-80% to assist with the health of the battery. From what the lady said who I was chatting with, there is no point in having a solar panel if she is telling me to charge it manually.Anyone else having the same issue? Ring do not seem to have a grip on this issue.
