Floodlight cam Pro eave mount adapter
Ring should consider offering a product since this is a common method for installation and the new floodlight pro camera adjustment is more limited that its predecessor Necessitating a wedge adapter which in the aftermarket costs too much ($60)!

I successfully mounted the floodlight on the eve that is not the issue. The issue is the latest pro model. The camera doesn’t adjust as far out as the older model that I had installed and the view is limited and what many have said on Reddit and other social media platforms is that it needs a wedge between the electrical box and the floodlight. Wedges are available however, the only one I have found that’s available is an exorbitant amount of money considering the price of the floodlight it should be like a 10 or $15 (at most)attachment between the electrical box and the floodlight. Like the doorbell, Ring should provide an adapter plate for eave mounts so the view is not limited by the restrictive camera adjustment. transition
