Battery doorbell disappeared from app
I have a battery ring doorbell 2nd gen. It went flat and I didn’t recharge it straight away. Now it’s recharged the app won’t accept it as a previously registered device. I tried registering it as a new device, big mistake, it now says the doorbell belongs to someone else (yeah, me!) and has requested a change of ownership. I can’t reply to this because the doorbell isn’t registered to my account… help!
Just a footnote, I had the doorbell and 2 security cameras registered to my ring account, all of them went flat (I was away for a while) now none of them show on the dashboard of the app.

Thanks Tom,
the only problem is the email address it must be registered with no longer exists. I changed emails on Amazon and all other important apps, but I must have forgotten ring. I guess I’ll have to wait the 14 days automatic owner change

Hi @user_91fa08. If the device is saying there is a different owner, but you are the owner, this means that a different email was used to set up the device. Try checking any other emails that you or a spouse may have used to set up the device and logging in to the Ring app with that email.
