Adding Ring Camera to my Garage Door opener

Question

I have my Q and a ring camera, I tried to add a device I went through the process of unplugging the garage door opener resetting it and I hear the beep I added the serial number and when I go to the registering I get a message that says There was an error connecting to the server.  I tried it twice and get the same message.  Any ideas/suggestions on what to do next will be greatly appreciated.

Hi @user_09ebb2. Are you trying to set up the Ring Camera, or the myQ garage door opener? You can't add a Ring Camera to a myQ device, but you can link your Ring and myQ accounts to see the status of your garage door opener in the Ring app. Make sure the myQ device has been fully set up in the myQ app first. Then, navigate to Set Up a Device in the Ring app, and select Garage Door Openers from the list.
