My Ring in Florida has started periodically going offline. It might be working and the next time I try it is offline again and stays that was for hours then randomly pops back on. It isn’t the WiFi because the modem isn’t that far from the front door and my Alexa, which is farther away, is working when I drop in on that. It is wired so it isn’t associated with a battery.

It is Wired Doorbell Plus/Video Doorbell Pro and signal strength is showing rssi-43 if I’m reading that correctly.

Hi @user_df32a8. Thank you for that information. Try rebooting your Doorbelll using the Ring app. https://ring.com/support/articles/p8z2n/Rebooting-your-Video-Doorbell-or-Security-Camera. Reboot your router as well. If you have tried these steps and are still having the same concern, give our support team a call for further assistance. https://ring.com/support/contact-us/call?hasLangChanged=true

Hi @user_df32a8. Various factors can impact wifi connectivity, with distance from the router only being one of them. What Ring device are we working with, and what is the last reported signal strength? You can find the RSSI and the device name on the Device Health page in the Ring app.
