Ring Chime Connection Lost
troubleshooting

I just set-up a new ring doorbell and two chimes. With both chimes, I was able to connect them and make changes, then they ran an automatic software update and now they refuse to connect to our wifi. Our doorbell still works and sends notifications to the app but the chimes refuse to connect. Thoughts?

    Hi @user_4dc5bb. Try rebooting your router. Factory reset both Chimes as well. To factory reset a Chime, press and hold the setup button on it for 20-25 seconds. If you have tried these steps and they are still not reconnecting to your Wi-Fi, give our support team a call for further assistance.
