Had our ring doorbell for 3 years. Last month even though it still had a charge, it suddenly died. We re charged and all good until yesterday when at 27% it’s just died again. Tried re charging and the blue circle

goes round for about an hour then it just cuts off. Changed power cables and again the blue circle lights up when plugged in but goes off again. Tried a hard reset. 

what are next steps before thinking about buying a new doorbell (now looking at alternatives as well given subscription increase since owning).
