Ring App / Android Phone Issue

I was having issues trying to set up and add a brand new Ring bridge (2nd Gen) but the app kept saying my cellphone was not connected to the internet. It has been over two days now since all my smart lighting stopped working and neither the Ring bridge or any of my lights couldn't be added back to my Ring app. Both the 1st gen and 2nd gen bridges could not be added to my Ring app as the app states "Your phone is not connected to the internet" even though my cellphone and routers are all working fine, and my internet is 100% working. I have tried everything that Ring customer support suggested from unplugging router, restarting phone, using mobile data, reinstalling Ring app, changing batteries, checking the gigahertz, making sure devices are not blocked by larger items, so on and so forth, and nothing worked. The only code to come up was the P5-01 code, which makes me believe it might be a cellphone Wifi issue, but if not, then this might also be an app issue. Nevertheless, this caused me to return my 2nd gen Ring Bridge, take down all my lights, and throw away my 1st gen bridge.

Hi @user_545ff7. I would start with checking your phones settings and making sure the Ring app has all permissions allowed and enabled. If this doesn't correct the issue, you may need to clear the cache for the Ring app. Also, make sure that you do not have a VPN active, as this can also cause an issue. Let me know if this helps.
