Ring doorbell delayed notification

I have a wired doorbell and when someone rings the bell the chime rings instantly but the phone rings a minute or so later. I have deleted and reinstalled the app but the issue still remains. Before it was working fine on my phone but was delayed on my wife's phone, and now it's the other way round. Don't know how to solve the issue and troubleshooting from the instructions didn't solve the problem.
