When I play back or watch videos in live view, I am unable to change the playback volume so it's always on full volume. I can't seem to find any way to alter the volume as when use the volume control for my phone (S24 Ultra) it doesn't change the volume whatsoever.

Hi there. I'm unable to recreate this issue on my android phone. I would suggest looking at your phones settings like Do Not Disturb or other settings.

I have dug into every setting I can find. I just noticed today that all volume controls work correctly when my bluetooth ear buds are connected. The volume playback in the buds works as it should. Without the buds just volume full blast

Hi @user_4ac58d. Have you tried adjusting this with your Bluetooth turned off? Is your phone on silent or vibrate? Since this appears to be an issue with your phones settings, it may be best to find support for your specific phone and discuss the issue there.

Same issue for me on a  Samsung S23 Ultra, but this has been a problem as long as I can remember.

Just for giggles, I tried just now to uninstall and reinstall the app and surprisingly, the physical volume buttons on my device now actually work to adjust the live volume. It seems to use the "in call" volume rather than the media controls, but before I reinstalled I could open the full volume channel mixer and none of the volume sliders had any effect.

The dynamic range of the call volume is not as much as the media volume I think - at the lowest call volume the camera audio is still a bit too loud, and at the max it is not as loud as I'd think it should be, but nevertheless the problem appears to be resolved from the uninstall/reinstall.

For others who might come to this thread to find answers, this solution (reinstalling the app) actually worked for me (Samsung Galaxy S23+).

ChatGPT recommended that I uninstall->restart phone->reinstall just to clear any audio-related cache. Not sure if the restart actually made a difference but it worked, and now my media volume controls the audio for Live View.

We have the same issue on an S24 and S24+, always full volume, can't turn it down. This is the ONLY app on my phone with this issue. I can open up any other app that outputs audio and I can adjust the media volume with the volume buttons on the side of the phone. Please fix!

Same issue for me, nothing fixes it. I can adjust volume on playback but not live.
