Hi @user_63d70e. When charging the battery, make sure you have plugged it in to a standard power outlet using the provided charging cable. It can take up to 8 hours to fully charge the battery. After that's done, hold down the setup button for 20 seconds to reset the Doorbell. After the reset is done, walk through the steps under Set Up a Device to complete a new setup in the Ring app.

Exact same experience. Just suddenly stopped working at two years. Disappointing that this seems to be the lifespan for the doorbell style with built-in battery.

Mine made it to 2 years and 2 months and just suddenly went offline. I unmounted it and brought it in to check it out. No matter what button is pushed or for how long, no lights ever come on. I had this ‘hardwired’ with the appropriate cable sold by Ring for this model that attached to the back with the fork connectors under the screws and plugged into an outlet in the apartment. The app says the battery is fully charged. I removed the attached cable and just plugged a cable into the back to charge it like I used to before getting the hardwire cable for it. Nothing! A lifespan of just over 2 years is not satisfactory. I’m disappointed to say the least.
