How do I remove doorbell from the wall ?
installation
I just moved in to a new house and there's a ring doorbell on the wall, but I can't work out how to remove it, so I can scan the QR code.
The doorbell is mounted on a angle piece of plastic, but there are no screws visible. Any suggestions or advice please ?

Hi @justin_ring
Thank you.
That's looking good. It's got as far as acknowledging it's registered to someone else and giving them 14 days to reject. Fingers crossed.

Hi @david_navigator. That is odd. There should be screws that you can remove to take off the doorbell. It looks like they might have used some sort of adhesive to hold the doorbell onto the bracket. However, this doorbell appears to be an older model, which might not require a QR code for setup. Try going through your setup process, and when it asks you to scan, select the option that says you can't scan the QR code. The app will then ask you to select which model doorbell you have; choose Video Doorbell 2. Let me know if this helps.
