Elite Doorbell lost connection

Own an elite doorbell, worked perfectly fine for about 5 years, lost its connection (Ethernet) suddenly a few days ago.
Already tried everything, hard reset, using different devices, connect through wifi etc.
From my Android devices setup reaches the point that it notifies about the imminent connection to own network and then nothing happens.
From my iOS devices, it tries to connect but ends up with the notification "Unable to join the network "Ring Setup 3b"".
Pretty frustrating.. any proposals?
