Battery Doorbell Pro - absolutely dire battery life
When I first purchased this doorbell the battery life was terrible, but after going through all the best settings with support, managed to get battery life to around 30-40 days, which is good for the amount of alerts I typically get.But the last few months, the battery lasts for around 9-10 days! I now have four batteries that I use in rotation and no matter how new the battery is, the battery life remains the same.I haven't changed any settings at all. The amount of alerts hasn't changed (if anything, over the summer I get fewer alerts), yet I'm constantly swapping out batteries these days. It is incredibly frustrating.I even added the solar panel mount, though that was a waste of money to be honest.

Hi there. I think I finally discovered what was wrong and it's a strange one. I have my Ring Doorbell announce on 3 seperate Echo Show devices. One of the devices is in a spare room. What was happening was, despite the Ring app showing the camera as not being live, whenever someone rang the doorbell, it was keeping a live feed going on the Show in the spare room for anywhere up to an hour before closing.
This wasn't recording anything, and the app didn't show anything, but the Echo Show would, for whatever reason, keep showing a live feed from the doorbell. I have disabled that device now and battery life has significantly improved.

Hi @retrovertigo. Is your device up to date? Try resetting it by pressing and holding the setup button for 20 seconds, then releasing it. This will reset the device and ensure it is up to date. Let me know if this improves things.
