CHi @user_934887. This is an older thread, with some troubleshooting steps shared in previous moderator replies. I'd recommend creating your own post in the appropriate category with a few details about what your concern is. Make sure to include which Ring device you have.

- KHad mine for Christmas along with an Alexa show. I set it all up on my Kitchen desk and all seemed to work ok for days. This evening I was demonstrating it to my wife so we can get the commands agreed and because of audio feedback, I sent her in the conservatory with it. From that point on, it all started playing up with commands failing and the ring door bell becoming non responsive with a solid blue light staying on. A quick look at this thread lead me to the wifi issue. I moved the door bell back into the kitchen and after a minute or so the blue light went off and normal service was resumed. Following a few more tests, it seems that by moving it into the conservatory (at the back of the house) it was just too far from the wifi router (at the front of the house) and it basically lost its wifi connection resulting in a solid blue light while it searched for the connection. Luckily my router is just inside my front door so this will not be an issue for me in the future but it could be a factor in the solid blue light for someone else. Possibly when searching for the internet it may not allow charging for some reason, just a thought as its all still a learning curve for me at the moment.•
