[Red and Green buttons](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/208144516-Using-Live-View), [Motion Zones](https://community.ring.com/t/feature-update-customizable-motion-zones-for-battery-devices/13965), and [People Only Mode](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032947972-Refining-Your-Alert-Notifications-with-People-Only-Mode) are all user adjustable settings. To see if your app is up to date, visit your phones app store where you can see available updates. I hope this helps!

Hi. I also have this question: what do the red and green phone icons do? The link provided in an answer does not mention these. What are these? There's already a microphone icon to talk, so what are the phone icons for and why different colors? Thanks, Jeff

Hi @Jscooper. The green phone icon button during a Live View is to activate two-way audio for you to speak to the person and for them to speak back to you. The red phone icon is to end the Live View. 🙂

Hi, i recently had the red and the green phone icons to interact with the person at the door. Why now do i have only a red icon that ends live view, mic icon and a speaker icon. Is it from an update?

Hi @dannycleary76. Our teams are always working to improve the Ring app and offer neighbors more control over their devices. The red icon will end Live View, the mic icon will allow you to toggle the microphone on and off, and the speaker icon will toggle the volume from the Doorbell or Camera itself. Hope that helps!
