My new Ring doorbell came with a little orange lver which releases a clip, there is no screw, is this the latest update?

Hi @user_f693ce. Yes, that is the remover tool that allows you to release the Doorbell from the mounting bracket. No security screw is needed for the installation. You can reference the installation steps here.
