Motion & Package Zone Difference?
What is the actual difference between a Person Zone and a Package Zone?
Is it simply about the label?
If the zones overlap can a package be discerned from a person and visa versa?

Hi @user81246. This Help Center article here will explain how Package Alerts work. You can learn more about Smart Alerts here. Each zone is independent from another. I hope this helps.

From the help article: This feature (Package Alerts) also relies on Motion Detection, so make sure you have that feature turned on.
Packages don't move. Apparently, it does not discern between a package as opposed to a person. I assumed the Package Zone relied on analyzing image pixels to detect a package.
Ring CS told me not to have both a Person Zone and a Package Zone.
