Question

using a Ring Doorbell 2 with Ring Mains charger but the internal battery seems to still show power decreasing do i sill have to charge to doorbell or ignore it the app shoss hardwired

Hi @Markrw. Hardwiring your Doorbell to the doorbell circuit will provide it with a small trickle charge each day to help keep the battery levels topped off. If your Doorbell experiences a large number of events such as motions, dings, and Live Views, the battery will drain more quickly than it can be charged.
