    I got the same issue. i got ring camera 2 hardwired but not charging the battery. If i take the battery out and re charge it , it is charging. I guessed the firmware updates screwed it up. Hope RINg fix it

      Doorbell transformers do die. Check the alternating current voltage at the wires at the Ring.
