Doorbell 4 not resetting
Hi all
I moved into a house which has Doorbell 4 installed. The previous owner says they removed the doorbell from their account but when setting it up, I keep getting message that doorbell is registered to another account. I have tried to reset it multiple times by pressing the orange reset button for more than 15 seconds. When I do that, the doorbell restarts (goes through reset process) but I get the same message again ie the doorbell is registered to another account. Any suggestions ?

Hi @user_be5a2c. This means that you are using a different email address to connect the doorbell than the email address that was used to originally set up the device. If you have another email, try logging into the Ring app with that email address. You can also check with a family member that may have set up the doorbell.
