First time posting so let me know if something does not meet decorum. Wondering if anyone else has found the below item(s) and can provide some guidance on the solar one.

My GEN2 Battery Doorbell has 2 items which I have been troubleshooting. One issue I seem to have found the culprit. 

Item #1: The pins which make contact with the Ring Battery when inserted appear too be much shorter in length then on my other ring cameras. This causes an issue where any vibration (including someone pressing the doorbell) to the doorbell may cause the battery contact pins to disconnect and the device go offline. I actually bought a second Doorbell 2 thinking it was a faulty original but both behave in the same manner regardless of using the new battery which came with the unit or older batteries I already had.  The battery pin connectors on the batteries appear similar and work regardless of ring camera device (new and old). When looking at the length of the pins in other battery camera units, the camera pin connectors appear noticeably longer visually to ensure a more solid contact point regardless of vibration.

Item #2: The solar charger which I am using (newer model compatible with the GEN2) from the device dashboard says its "solar" connected but it does not appear to providing a trickle charge. Doorbell on house is southern facing. Any guidance would be appreciated before I pull out the volt meter.
