Wiring a Gen 1 floodlight cam

troubleshooting

Trying to reinstall a floodlight at a different location. I hooked it up and lights will not go off. I think I wired wrong. Where does the red wire go? I really could use help in wiring this. All wires. Thank you.

Hi @user20146. If possible, take a picture of what your installation is looking like so the Community can help identify what wires you are talking about. There should be a White, Black and bare metal wire (ground) that you need to connect. Let me know if this is what you have. Thanks, neighbor.

That article guides you to only using the thicker white and black wires, as well as the copper wire. The smaller black, white, and red wires that are wrapped together are **not** used.
