Spotlight Cam Plus for detecting Wldlife
I just got a battery powered Spotlight Cam Plus and would like to use it to monitor wildlife like squirrels and foxes in my backyard. Is this even possible? Are there any tips or lessons learned on where to place the camera and what setting to use?

Hi @user_cdc049. While there aren't any settings specifically to monitor wildlife, larger animals like a fox are likely to trigger the camera's motion detection. You're able to set up your Motion Zones for areas you want to be notified of motion in. You can also activate Live View via the Ring app to see what's happening in real time.
Additional features, such as video recording and Extended Live View, are also available with a compatible Ring Home plan. Without a subscription, you can still receive notifications and use the Live View. For placement, an installation height of around 8 to 9 feet should work well. You don't want the camera installed too high or too low, as this will negatively affect the motion detection.
