- MThanks for your reply. That is how I assumed it would work. But when I added the second battery on a currently mounted light, it did not recognize the second battery. When the first battery went low, I removed it and at the point the light recognized the other battery and when I returned the newly charged battery, the light did recognize both batteries. Love the light and thanks again for your response!!!!•

- CSo, we just installed the spotlight cam battery. I charged & inserted 2 batteries. The red lights came on for both & 2 little green batteries showed up in the Ring app. Then after a day, the right battery is not recognized. We took it down, & the battery on the right had slipped out. So I pushed it down good, & made sure the other battery was in & then they both showed up again. Then, we put it back up, & the same thing happened again. Please help!•

UI also but two packs and charged them as instructed and placed both in at the same time but when I see it on the app both are draining at the same time!!! What did I do wrong??? Help

JHi @user_752660. Both batteries should not be draining at the same time. Reboot your Camera using the Ring app. https://ring.com/support/articles/p8z2n/Rebooting-your-Video-Doorbell-or-Security-Camera. Let me know if that helps.

I have the same problem. The dual battery system doesn't work! Camera just died. Justin_Ring, there is no reboot option on the Ring App!

JHi @user_612989. Are you set up as the Shared User or Owner? Shared Users will not have the option to reboot a camera.
