Ring update impacting wildlife coverage?
app-settings
troubleshooting

I purchased my ring floodlight cam pro (two of them) not to pick up every car that drives by my house or each person walking or jogging, but for the wildlife that passes by. Up until March (2025) or so a few times a week I'd see coyotes, foxes, deer, raccoons, tons of rabbits, and more. Then, since that time, maybe some Ring update or some forced setting switch I have seen zero wildlife. Maybe around the time smart alerts were added? So either there is all of a sudden no wild life in my neighborhood or something changed with Ring. I suspect the latter. Online searches only had me adjust my sensitivity which is up to the highest level. But I didn't make any changes. Anyone have a similar experience? This is enough for me to look at replacement options.

Yes. After a month or so with no wildlife I added them. Still nothing.

Thank you for the reply. YES! I see wildlife from time to time but they no longer show up on the ring recording. And they used to. And I did not change anything which is the frustrating part. I watched two deer recently walk across my whole yard. Stop at the shrubs right next to my house and eat my flowers that just bloomed and nothing on the ring. But again this previously would show up. I’ll tweak the settings and thank you again for the reply (but I’m not confident it will fix it)
