No video message from cam when I need it the most

My cams record events all day long. It’s the middle of the night when 2 of my cams have been alerted to motion but do not take a video when I need it the most! Does not happen XXXX% of the time, but what am I missing on those that do not record? I’m trying to see intruders near my vehicles. I’ve read that this happens to many users and have taken steps to reset. It still continues to occur. This is the main reason for having the system, but now I am doubting my choice.

    Hi @dawgfan76. We’d be happy to offer some general troubleshooting assistance once we have more information. Which model of Ring Camera are we working with? You can locate the device name on the Device Health page. Next, are these motion alerts listed on the Event History? Are you seeing a specific error message when you try to tap on those events? Feel free to share any screenshots that help demonstrate what you’re seeing on your end.

          Hi @dawgfan76. I am happy to chime in. Other than resetting the Camera, I would also recommend looking into its signal strength and making sure it is good. I would also recommend rebooting your router by unplugging it from power for a few seconds and plugging it back in. If you have tried these steps and are still having the same concern, give our support team a call for further assistance.
