You just flip it around per the instructions to go vertical on a wall or fascia. There is nothing to buy! Please see the [Floodlight Cam Wired Pro Installation Guide](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360059068632-Floodlight-Cam-Wired-Pro-Installation-Guide)•

Hey neighbors, you can locate the installation instructions for the Floodlight Cam Wired Pro here. Other neighbors in this thread have shared different DIY solutions if you are unable to properly mount your Floodlight Cam in your desired mounting location. We do recommend being careful with any third-party mounts or accessories, as we can't guarantee they will be compatible or allow for the safe installation of the Floodlight Cam.

UMaybe ring should actually address the issue then rather than ignore the fact that many people want to mount their camera to the soffit area rather than the side of their house. All the flood light mount locations on my house are under the eaves. I have not bought any of theses for toward because Ring chooses to ignore the needs of those of us that need an eaves/soffit mounted solution.
Very unhelpful comment from Ring employee…

Try going into settings and edit your motion zone rather than trying to adjust the camera.

Several of the comments says to flip it around and adjust the camera view. We did that and it worked until it rained and one of the lights got water in it and does work and the other light keeps going on and off even when there is nothing to trigger the light to come on. Ring really needs to make an undermount for eaves or an extension to change it from a side mount to an undermount.
