This may be an enhancement request.  I understand that motion is detected two different ways, by the motion sensor and the camera.  Oddly when the camera detects motion, no recording is taken.  I need the camera motion detection to:

A) initiate a recording, the 30 ft range on the motion detector is insufficient.

B) create an Alexa event so Alexa can turn on additional flood light that I have set up

My apologies if this was already requested, I did not find any references.
