Disappointed with Two brand new Fllodlight Pro Second Generation
negative-feedback

Recently purchased Two all singing / dancing Ring Pro Floodlight 2nd generation reported to be the best so far camera only to find that no option of Colour night vision , unlike my Ring Doorbell Plus and much lower spec camera.

Thinking about returning the two camera as these are not cheap and do not have this basic function , how can these be marketed as best camera with 4K with only black and white night vision.

@user_877f85 Correct, standard night vision is what you will see in true darkness, while the Low Light Sight provides color in ambient light. This change was intentional, with the goal of ensuring a clear view even in the dark. You can view a list of devices that do have the color night vision toggle here

Hi @user_877f85. While the Floodlight Cam Pro (2nd Gen) doesn't have a color night vision toggle, it does have Low-Light Sight, providing a full-color view in near dark. Do you have an example of how the night vision looks on your end?

        Hi Catlyn

The only time I can see colour at night is when the floodlights light up with activation. When looking at general live view only black white.

Have been advised by James the Ring founder that black and white gives better visual quality at night hence why the colour night vision toggle function is not present on the all singing latest Floodlight Prob2nd generation.

was going to purchase x2 further Ring Pro Spotlight 2nd generation but given the lack of Night Colour Vision function think will hold fire.
