Cold Weather non working cameras Problem
cs-support

Maybe you should make cameras that work in colder climates Like Michigan it doesn't help when what we rely on is not working no matter the battery charge the cameras disconnect and then won't reconnect without taking them off the location and going thru the whole setup process each time. Not as good as You could make it for the customers who care and Bought Your Products ... PLEASE Fix this for ALL of US ... Harle

Hi @user_e5662d. Cold weather has unfortunate effects on the type of batteries used in Ring devices. When the temperature drops very low, the battery will not hold a charge as well, and may not even work at all. We have more information on how cold weather affects lithium-ion batteries here.

I am having the same problem here in NJ, we don't care why or about the science. The fact is they don't work and I am looking at other options now, you are going to lose a customer because of it.
