Cloud storage of recordings

Hi,I am hoping someone on here may be able to help me. I am working with someone in a professional capacity in relation to their human rights and being recorded without consenting to be recorded. The individual I am working with has Ring cameras in their property which are placed there by another individual known to them to check up on them. This is purely for safety reasons due to their own vulnerability and well intended, although questionable legally. Can anyone confirm whether there is any storage at all of videos without the Ring subscription? Such as temporary cloud storage, storage within the device, or storage on the receiving device (such as you get a notification of motion on your phone, and you are able to access this on a slight delay); or without a subscription is it merely live feeds you can access? Thanks in advance.

Hi @user_c1f407. Let me explain how our camera system works and what features are available to you. When you first purchase the camera, you'll receive a free trial subscription. During this period, you'll have access to all features, including video recording and storage capabilities. This gives you the opportunity to fully explore and understand the system's capabilities.Once the trial period ends, your access to features will depend on whether you choose to subscribe. With a subscription, you'll continue to enjoy full video recording capabilities, storage of recorded footage, and complete access to all features that you experienced during the trial period.Without a subscription, you'll still have access to essential features. You can use the live view to see what's happening in real-time, engage in two-way communication to speak with visitors, and receive instant notifications when someone is at your door. The key difference is that without a subscription, while you can interact with visitors in real-time, you won't be able to record or review past or live footage. You can find out more in the first couple paragraphs here :https://ring.com/support/articles/6shp7/managing-your-ring-videos
