Battery door warning on Ring Camera

I’ve just installed my second ring camera and I keep getting a warning to tell me my battery door is open. I’ve closed it several times and it looks securely closed so I’m thinking there’s a fault. Any ideas?

    I would say remove the battery and re-insert. Make sure it is pushed in all the way until you hear a click when a connection is made and the tab engages. Then, line up the door carefully before closing it.

    Yikes. And is the door closing uniforming such that there is no gap around the entire perimeter? If you are using a charged battery and have it completely closed, not sure what else is going on. Have you tried resetting everything by pushing the button on top of the camera to force it to reconnect? Do you have the latest iOS and Ring Apps?
