I purchased the Ring Solo Plan in September 2025 to cover our front doorbell and paid the annual fee of £49.99.

At Christmas, we were kindly gifted another security camera for our back garden, so I’m now looking to upgrade to the Ring Multi Plan (I believe that’s the correct one), which costs £79.99 per year.

As we’ve already paid the full annual amount back in September, I’m just wondering how this works when upgrading. Would we be able to transfer the remaining credit from our current plan towards the Multi Plan and simply pay the difference? Or would we need to cancel and request a refund before purchasing the new plan?

Any advice from anyone who has done this before would be greatly appreciated.
