It is true Ring did in fact change my plan to the Pro Plan for 19.99 a month without my consent even though the reply from the Ring moderator to the other post like this says they do not. 

I received the email about Ring doubling my plan fees monthly and was offended they were doing that..not to mention other rumors of surveillance integrations with other companies. I went to ring and chose the lesser plan at 10.00 per month only to receive an email from Ring  a couple of weeks later saying congratulations on my pro plan upgrade. I noticed when I went back to change the plan back, there were no options to go backwards..so I contacted customer support who said they could help me get the plan I had. 

What kind of business practice is this? I'll tell you. It's a brazen, arrogant woke based attack on consumers they feel will not respond or care  what they do. Much like government officials who feel you have no right to know the workings of government. 

Ring appears to be moving in a disturbing direction and I have a fair amount of money invested in their home system. I am to the point of replacing every single piece of Ring gear and have canceled all subscriptions. What goes through the mind of these individuals that believe they can do whatever they want in the landscape of consumer goods and services especially with regard to political leanings. Our civic duty is to tell these individuals NO with our dollars. Boycott RING!
