Denial of GDPR request?? NO support??
I have nearly had an aneurysm from trying to get help from the "customer support" phone number.
I have now had to call repeatedly for the same issue. The first time, "judy" actually helped. She understood that getting to the doorbell at the time was not something possible (I am disabled and mobility is limited). She had no issue helping. But today? OH MY GODS.
To the point I am seriously thinking of stopping my usage and subscription of RING products full stop.
I then made a request for the data protection officer/data handling officer email. This is required BY LAW in the uk to be given. That all call centre agents, should be able to supply this when requested. And to be denied this TWICE by two different agents!
Told (I am not making this up, if I can get the copy of the phone call I can prove it) I was told by the first agent today, The "Supreme one" had told him what to do.
I wish I was making that up! I am sadly not.
I then googled how to get to the data request email that all companies must have and provide upon request(Please see the ICO website) and guess what! It tells you to use its useless AI chat bot. Which...doesnt help you!
So now the RING doorbell company has denied my access to my data (which I am going to file with the ICO) and didnt help one wit.
Has raised by blood pressure I am sure to near stroke level, and has shown me, I am clearly making a mistake putting money into RING as a company!
HOW can I get the data request email from this company as required by law upon request??
