Mode status is not available error on app

I just got the base and keypad installed 2 days ago. I see this error on the app today. Up until 2 days ago I had ADT service with zero issues. The app is not the most intuitive and customer services and terrible. Can someone please help me resolve this..?

    We experienced multiple system outages on October 20th from 10:00 UTC to 22:27 UTC. These issues are now resolved, and you should see normal performance from the Ring app and your Ring devices. If you have any other questions, or have any problems with your Ring Alarm, please let us know.

      I have the same issue too. It's weird - it wasn't working early this morning - and then around 8:45am EST - I could disarm my alarm - and then this afternoon I got the error. Best guess is it's the outage - but I thought it was resolved - but then maybe not :-(
